Signing Ceremony as a Distributor of Lynk & Co in Laos between Lynk & Co and Manignom Auto group was hold on 28 Sept 2024 at Eastin Hotel Vientiane.
Lynk & Co is a “global new premium brand” jointly established by Geely Holding Group, Geely Auto Group and Volvo Cars. It was officially launched in Berlin in 2016. The brand draws on the professional car-making experience of Volvo and Geely, and integrates it into the brand genes of Lynk & Co.
As we all know that Geely Holding Group has managed many world-class brands including Geely Auto, Volvo, Lynk & Co, Zeekr, Lotus, Polestar, Proton cars, Smart, Geometry, LEVC and others.
Mr Souksamone Sihathep said: Although there is high competition in the market and coupled with the trend of electric cars, we believe that Lynk & Co cars will meet the demands of customers who prefer modern technology as well as savings at the same. We have a plan to open an official showroom and service center and at the same time introduce two models, Lynk & Co 06 and Lynk & Co 08. Both models will be PHEV technology combined between engine and electric at Manignom Auto Group, Thongkhankham village, Chanthabuly district, Vientiane Capital.
In addition, we also plan to open a Lynk & Co Pop-up store in Savannakhet and southern in Pakse.
And Mr Bruce Lee from Lynk & Co Overseas Division said: Laos is an important part of Lynk & Co’s layout in Southeast Asia, besides our brand launch in Vietnam and Philippines and it is also a market we attach great importance to. As an important economy, Lao’s automobile market has huge growth potential.
With the strong support of Manignom Auto Group, Lynk & Co brand is expected to complete the establishment of first Lynk & Co Space in this October and realize the official launch of Lynk & Co with our new plug-in hybrid SUV products.
